Padmé Amidala (Family gown)

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

Padmé Naberrie of Naboo was the younger daughter of Ruwee and Jobal Naberrie, and the sister of Sola Naberrie. Later in her life, Amidala became the secret wife of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and the mother of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa Solo, two of the most important figures in Galactic history. She was also the grandmother of Jaina, Jacen and Anakin Solo, as well as Ben Skywalker. This relationship made her great-grandmother of Allana Solo, Jacen Solo’s daughter, and an ancestor of Nat, Kol, Cade Skywalker, and Ania Solo.

Amidala was the democratically elected Queen of Naboo before representing the Chommell sector as a Senator in the Galactic Senate. As Queen of Naboo, Amidala fought bravely to liberate her people during the Trade Federation’s invasion in 32 BBY, thus becoming one of the most respected political figures in the galaxy. In 22 BBY, following the Military Creation Act, Anakin Skywalker was assigned to protect her, and following the Battle of Geonosis, the two secretly married on Naboo after the pair fell in love.

REQUIRED ITEMS

1. Fitted midriff-baring bodice with an open back, long knuckle-length fitted sleeves and a tall fitted collar of a very crinkled light aqua matte fabric. The front of the bodice extends to long tabs that taper around the sides and down to the center back to attach to the waist of the skirt. Diagonal curving seams are decorated with lines of coordinating tiny trochus shells or similar rough-cut iridescent shell-like beads. At the center front bust line, the center back waist point and at each back edge point where the sleeve meets the bodice is a small, somewhat folded filigree light blue leaf clip with silver and aquamarine highlights. The collar and back yoke are held closed by several small iridescent pearl or light aqua fabric covered buttons rimmed in silver.

2. Floor-length wrap skirt with a somewhat flared fullness from the knees to the hem and a small train of a very crinkled light aqua matte fabric. The skirt closes at the left side front with a small iridescent pearl or light aqua fabric covered button rimmed in silver at the waistline of the closure.

3. Low heeled coordinating tailored pumps or flats (low-heeled satin slingbacks with pointed toes dyed to match are suggested).

4. Hair is parted and pulled away from the face by a wide, contoured headband in a soft pearlized metallic light aqua with silvery accents (treatment with rub ‘n buff is suggested). A textured zig-zag-like diamond motif of varying sizes spans the length of the headband. Piles of soft curls cascade from the crown of the head behind the headband. Naturally occurring hair colors only; no bangs.
