Later in her life, Amidala became the secret wife of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and the mother of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa Solo, two of the most important figures in Galactic history. She was also the grandmother of Jaina, Jacen and Anakin Solo, as well as Ben Skywalker. This relationship made her great-grandmother of Allana Solo, Jacen Solo’s daughter, and an ancestor of Nat, Kol, Cade Skywalker, and Ania Solo.
Amidala was the democratically elected Queen of Naboo before representing the Chommell sector as a Senator in the Galactic Senate. As Queen of Naboo, Amidala fought bravely to liberate her people during the Trade Federation’s invasion in 32 BBY, thus becoming one of the most respected political figures in the galaxy. In 22 BBY, following the Military Creation Act, Anakin Skywalker was assigned to protect her, and following the Battle of Geonosis, the two secretly married on Naboo after the pair fell in love.

[box]Loose floor-length undergown (likely sleeveless) of a sky blue or muted turquoise, very crinkled matte fabric with a plunging V neckline front and back, trimmed in narrow bias binding. Fake Fortuny pleating is suggested.[/box] [box]Poncho-like long tunic of a heavy textured matte fabric in a saturated medium blue or slightly darker. No fleece. The tunic has a very long V-neck in front that reaches to the waist and a shorter V-neck in back, very long wide sleeves with contoured hems and drop shoulder seams, and an asymmetrical hem where the front hem is a soft inverted V with the point at about mid-thigh and the back hem is a contoured half circle that extends about mid-calf. The tunic is lined with a pale or light blue silk or silk-like fabric. The tunic should have some structure and body to it, particularly at the hems.[/box] [box]Above the center front hem is a very large sunburst of abstract flames, leaf motifs, a central rosette and lines of small triangles in shades of yellow, orange, blue, lavender and white. The sunburst may be embroidered or finely painted.[/box] [box]Beneath the sunburst tacked to the hem are three clusters of multi-length narrow matte silken ribbons in shades of yellow, orange, rose pink and lavender, each with a large blue multi-colored “Fimo-like” bead with a red iridescent seed bead tied at the end; one cluster is at the center of the sunburst, with the other two flanking near the sides of the sunburst.[/box] [box]The front V-neck and lower sleeves hems have inverted Naboo-like symbols in shades of yellow, orange, blue, lavender and white, while the tops of the sleeves are encircled in a long decorative flames motif, each with a Naboo-like motif aligned with the shoulder seam in shades of yellow, orange, blue, lavender and white. The V-necklines and sleeve edges are rimmed with a line of white narrow satin stitch above which is a white border line of triangular “chicken feet”. These motifs may be embroidered or finely painted.[/box] [box]Black or navy leather or leather-like tailored flats.[/box] [box]Hair is loosely spiral-curled, parted in the middle and pinned back from the face, with curls left to drape over the front.
