Additional information or comments: A 5k / 10k to benifit the ALS Association in memory of Haley Stevens. There will be a pavillion at the start/finish line for registration and the post race celebration with awards ceremony. Race starts at 7:30am and all runners are expected back at the pavillion by 10:30 if characters are only available post race. Haley and her dad are avid Star Wars fans who loved to share their fandom. We would love it if the Empire could come honor her memory. Haley's Hope was established in honor of a beloved daughter, sister, and friend-Haley Stevens-who was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 16. During her short battle, her family and friends knew that the only way to help others afflicted with this awful disease was to start raising money for research and to spread awareness about ALS to the community.
