Padmé Amidala/Skywalker Costume Standards
Queen Amidala (Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Red Invasion Gown)
Required Items:

1. Red gown with seaming/piping down the length of the gown and pointed outer sleeves.
2. Main dress has an inverted funnel shape.
3. Both collars, tabard, outer and inner sleeves and base of gown have fur trim. The outer sleeve is lined with fur as well with no red showing.
4. Tabard has gold design down the length, upper collar has swirled design.
5. Egg shaped orbs with black detail at the base are spaced evenly around bottom of gown.
6. Hair in a large curved shape, knotted ponytail down back. Red and gold face frames attached to cover ears, ornament at top of headpiece with red stripe down center ending in red jewel.
7. White make-up on face and neck must be applied evenly. No splotchy make-up. Red upper lip, white lower with red stripe down center.
8. Twin red dots on apples of cheeks centered beneath the eyes.

1. Deep purple velvet for jacket with pointed front hem and high collar with embossed or painted stylized Naboo symbols over coat.
2. Blue/purple under skirt with wide flared bottom.
3. Purple satin sleeves folded back to expose hands and fitted inner sleeves in same color of under skirt.
4. Purple veil draped over twin round hairpieces, face flanked by same fabric hair bindings wound with dark purple bead latticework.
5. Gold tiara holds veil and hair bindings in place at the forehead.

Required Items:

1. Blue under shirt with curved neckline and wide sleeves bound at wrists with grey/light tan material.
2. Medium grey/tan textured outer tunic has lower curved neckline, bottom hem reaching below hips.
3. Large deep purple or plum pants bound around calves with similar/same color material, binding extends over most of brown/dark tan shoe.
4. Blue belt in same material as under shirt with center stone in red/orange.
5. Two braids over top of head curve around back into a braid bun at back of head. Long hair hangs free down the back with two long round braid drapes that feed in and out of bun.

Required Items:

1. Base layer is a crinkled plum fabric shown at neckline and at knee level to the floor.
2. Middle layer is a lilac color with off-white textured over layer for dress with down curved skirt hem, collar and fitted sleeves.
3. Outer layer is an iridescent gray/lilac with large curved penguin sleeves with swirled design, front hem folded back to expose under skirts and lining of outer layer.
4. Obi of diamond or diagonal patterned gold and cream metallic fabric.
5. Fan of hair at the top trimmed with silver metal arches at middle and base. Gold and silver colored ear bubbles, off white pearls over top of head and forehead with long drapes around face and twisted back over ear bubbles. Back of hair is long ponytail of many smaller braids covered with more drape strings of pearls.
6. White make-up on face and neck must be applied evenly. No splotchy make-up. Red upper lip, white lower with red stripe down center. Twin red dots on apples of cheeks centered beneath the eyes.

1. Orange/gold iridescent pleated, two-layer base dress with high collar.
2. Orange and red floor length jacket, folded over orange textured collar reaching to the floor, red velvet jacket with large gold braid detail in sweeping hem that separates top smooth velvet half from bottom textured/smocked velvet half.
3. Large, round opening sleeves with similar orange folded back detail.
4. Round, fitted gold base, twin horn-like hair curves, and twin red and gold cylindrical hanging columns.
5. Hair horns have decorative gold rings (3 per horn), a center gold ring with asymmetrical gold circle in the center.
6. Gold drape beads flank face at ears.
7. White make-up on face and neck must be applied evenly. No splotchy make-up. Red upper lip, white lower with red stripe down center. Twin red dots on apples of cheeks centered beneath the eyes.

Padmé Amidala Naboo Fighter Pilot (Episode II: Attack of the Clones)


Required Items:

1. Medium reddish brown or dark tan long sleeve suede or moleskin overshirt
2. Orangish red fitted pants made of stretch material with low sheen
3. Black cloth ribbed neck seal that can be just a "dickie" or attached to undershirt
4. Dark brown knee-high, low heel suede or suede-like boots with a strap and brass buckle across the front ankle
5. Charcoal gray/grayish teal leather or pleather V neck vest that is longer in the back with side closure and double line piping.
6. Brown belt with decorative brass buckle and 2 belt pouches, one on each side
7. Medium reddish brown or dark tan leather gloves
8. Dark brown leather or leather-like bracers/gauntlets with double line piping.
9. Six(6) low ponytails, each ponytail has 4 metallic rings on each ponytail and hair is past shoulders. Naturally occuring hair colors only, no bangs.

Padmé Amidala (Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Deleted Senate Gown)
Required Items:

1. Fitted floor-length undergown of a gold moiré or watered silk or silk-like fabric with a tall collar; the skirt of the gown should have structure (hoop skirt preferred). The gown has an elaborate jeweled decoration of navy and jet beads/rhinestones covering the collar and breast as well as decorative beaded chevron lines down the front of the gown to just below the knees.
2. Fitted floor-length surcoat of a dark navy or dark purple velvet with a high structured whisk collar and leg o’ mutton sleeves. The upper sleeves are in velvet and should have structure to fill out the puffs with the lower sleeves in a fitted, gathered navy or purple satin ending below the wrists. The front edges of the gown are decorated with a gold leaf design from the waist to the hem.
3. Two navy or purple crinkled satin scarves with fringe are attached to the collar beneath the lapels and are over the shoulders and down the back, ending several inches above the coat hem and are gathered at waist-level with strands of navy and jet beads.
4. Low heeled coordinating tailored pumps or flats
5. Hair is pulled back from the face, gathered into two fans of hair on either side of the head and two smaller fans of hair just below the crown of the head.
6. Naturally occurring hair colors only; no bangs.
7. Decorative brooch of purple stones/drops attached to the center front of the hairline.

1. Under-bodice of purple fabric with a slight sheen and a V-shaped sequin front panel surrounded by a V-shaped pendant band decorated with swirled designs. Bell shaped shiny fabric sleeves decorated with swirled designs and fitted knuckle length purple under-sleeves of purple crinkled fabric.
2. Matching floor length flared skirt decorated with a swirled design on a long oval shaped front panel(hoop skirt preferred for skirt structure).
3. High collar fit and flare surcoat of purple burnout velvet with purple piping details. Floor length split sleeves lined in purple crinkled fabric that wrap to back and are pinned with a round beaded brooch.
4. Low heeled coordinating tailored pumps or flats.
5. Multi band copper/brass/gold colored choker.
6. Hair is pulled up. A headdress resembling an inverted footed vase is woven out of copper/brass/gold strips and covered in micro-braids. Naturally-occurring hair colors only, no bangs.

Padmé Amidala (Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Deleted Naberrie Residence ‘Family’ gown)
Required Items:

1. Long sleeved midriff cropped turtleneck made of pastel aqua crinkled fabric with open back and long tabs wrapping from the sides meeting at the waist of the center back. Embellishments at seams on the front are string of trochus shells or similar beads. Decorative blue leaf clip at bottom center front. Turtleneck collar back has buttons of pearl or satin covered with an antique gold or brass metal edge.
2. Floor length wrap around skirt of pastel aqua crinkled fabric flairs out from the knees to the hem. Small decorative button at the top of the wrap opening – same as buttons on turtleneck collar.
3. Shoes are dress pumps with a pointed closed toe (most likely sling backs) that are dyed to match or silver.
4. Triangular shaped matching blue headband (preferably with metallic 'rub n buff' finish) with a geometric pattern. Hair worn pulled back in band with cascading curls down back. Naturally-occurring hair colors only; no bangs.

Optional Items:

1. Hooded floor length cloak of pale ivory panne velvet, fastened with a pearly-beige rectangular clasp. Long sleeves extend to roughly 1.5-2 feet from the ground. The cloak may also have a pale blue burn-out dragonfly design on the front.

Required Items:

1. Light blue, inner wrap top with exposed midriff and fitted sleeves with a drapey hood that covers back and shoulders and ends in a point with beaded fringe.
2. Cape effect comes from under the hood and wraps over the fitted sleeves of the inner top to create wing-like oversleeves edged in silver cord trim.
3. Back of the cape comes to a point, with a silver ‘f” shaped pattern along the edges and scattered on the back.
4. Light blue full length skirt is straight and gathers in a T in the front; in the top center, there is a triangular pattern of bead fringe.
5. Light blue or light gray tailored low heeled boots or shoes.
6. Headpiece has scroll work silver colored wire fitted at crown and encircling loosely curled hairbuns. Loosely curled hair is caught up low on the nape of neck and then cascades down back of hood. Naturally-occurring hair colors only; no bangs.

3. Multi-color (orange, yellow, red, blue, purple) with white border circle motif centered at the bottom front of the poncho and 3 sets of thin, multi-colored ribbons with beads hanging from the inverted V hem.
4. Wide sleeves with Naboo symbols, and orange and yellow flame points circling the sleeves.
5. Neckline of the poncho, and the bottoms of the sleeves have a white pattern at their edges as well as inverted Naboo symbols.

1. Off-white knit fitted top, made of non-shiny stretch material, with square inset mock turtleneck, angled seaming at bust line, long fitted sleeves with wide silver armbands. Sleeves are not set-in but have a seam running from the neck to the cuff. Shirt must be tucked in.
2. Off-white fitted legging with 4 seams on each leg, front, right, back and left, tucked into bone weave effect shin guards over lug soled bone colored boots. Boots and shin guards should be leather or leather-like.
3. Bone leather or leather-like utility belt with sculpted pouches and holster.
4. Hair parted in the center and pulled back and fastened at nape of the neck, multiple twisted loops of hair arranged at nape. Naturally-occurring hair colors only, no bangs.

Required Items:

1. Strapless bodice with diamond pattern of lilac, lavender, orchid fabric, with scalloped and teardrop ornament at center front. Strings of pearls drape loosely over upper arms, attached to bodice at either side of ornament. Sheer long triangular sleeves attach under arms and end with tassels at point.
2. V-shaped hip belt in lilac, lavender, orchid with petal and flower design and end with tassel at point at center front.
3. Floor length mermaid cut skirt of graduated lilac, lavender, orchid fabric. Sheer ruffled petals/scallops cascading down back of skirt flowing into a semi-circle train.
4. Hair parted in middle and smoothed into three part headpiece of lilac, lavender, orchid petal design, that coordinates with belt. One flower ornament at center of forehead and strings of pearls draped loosely into two cones at sides of head. Hair in buns emerging from cones. Naturally-occurring hair colors only; no bangs.

Required Items:

1. White matte unitard or fitted top and leggings, balaclava/hood matching the unitard/top, not glossy.

1. Floor-length cherry red undergown with long sleeves and a tight, high V-neck collar that are decorated with tiny beading in shades of red, brown, purple, cream and silver, edged in coppery-red or coppery-purple seam binding. Skirt of the gown may have hoops for structure.
2. Floor-length, empire-waist middle gown of a coppery-red/purple big concentric circular patterned fabric with a moderate sheen with high V-neck collar, and bell sleeves with wide cuffs.
3. Floor-length purple velvet cloak with a slit for each arm, two center front panels that appear as one and a double layer yoke collar. The front panels, yokes and area in front around the slits are decorated with a purple art nouveau floral design in colors of mostly purples with scalloped edges.
4. Coppery-red beveled oval pin with a purple rhinestone/sequin in the center.
5. Coppery-red beveled forehead band with red glitter/sequin insets and two purple teardrops rhinestones/sequins, one at each center edge with a line of tiny purple rhinestones/sequins connecting them.

Required Items:

1. Dark navy blue or dark purple robe made of silky fluffy fleece with deep V-neckline, clasped with two beaded purple and white tassels and down the entire sleeve, from neckline to end, there is an intricately embroidered floral pattern multi-colored trim. There are 2 beaded purple and white tassels where this pattern meets the neck as well as dark blue sequins. There are 2 beaded purple and white tassels, one on either side of the trim at the end of each sleeve.
2. Underdress is made of white satin with an empire waist and dark purple lace overlay.
3. Burgundy satin ribbon belts the underdress, with an ameythst stone drop in the center where the knot is. Costumer should appear pregnant.
4. Center parted hair was done in a simple style, with it curled along the side until it met in the back, held behind her head with a wide, embossed, pewter colored band with three other, smaller bands at intervals down the length of her hair. Her headpiece consisted of four pewter colored headbands sprouting from the thick of her twisted hair. Natural-occurring hair colors only, no bangs.

2. Floor length cloak of multi-colored blue, green, & aqua velvety fabric with a wave pattern and random sequins on cloak, sequined collar. Multiple sequined tails extending from the edge of the collar on each side down the front of the cloak. No closure, worn open, resting on the shoulders.
