Binks’ family originally came from the planet of Naboo. Near the very end of the Clone Wars Binks’ was only a child while in the mists of an attack the Clone Troopers who were helping turned on everyone and started shooting due to ORDER 66. Binks’ father was killed in action who was fiercely dedicated to the principle of freedom, who laid down his life in defense for the belief in democracy and to see the fall of the new Empire.

Shortly after the battle Binks’ mother did what she could to preserve the honor and memory of her husband and continued to do what she could for the growing New Republic.

Years later at the bedside of his dying mother she told him about his father. Binks’ knew from that moment on that he would dedicate his life as his parents did for freedom of the Republic and fall of the Empire.
