The Rebel Legion’s Corellian Base conducted a full scale rebel uprising at the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra on Saturday 6 March 2010!



The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra held their first performance featuring the movie music of John Williams. The symphony played theme music from movies such as Harry Potter, Jaws, Superman, Indiana Jones and others with 1/3 of the show dedicated to music from the Star Wars movies.



The Corellian Base began the rebellion with a rehearsal in the morning. Rebel sympathizers documented our activities (photo ops) before the show, during intermission and after the performance. The Corellian Base was involved in stage operations during key musical pieces to help gain local support. The audience was very sympathetic to the rebellion and asked many questions about the Rebel Legion throughout the evening. We were told that this was one of, if not the largest turn out the symphony had ever seen.



After the show we were invited to attend the reception dinner and we continued to spread good news of the Rebellion and recruit others to join the resistance. Although outnumbered and outgunned, the Rebel Legion’s Corellian Base firmly held the ‘thin orange line’ and helped the local residence resist Imperial oppression.
